Increased Risk of Stroke in Some Pregnancies

More and more women are going into pregnancy with these risk factors. Therefore an increase of strokes while pregnant, or within 3 months after a pregnancy, has been noted. In fact, an increase of 54% was noted from the mid 1990s to 2007.

Plain and simple, during a stroke blood flow to the brain stops. Needless to say this is serious. Here are some symptoms to look for:

• Faintness

• Abdominal Pain
